Rungolion

Yesterday, I went to visit the Tim Burton Exhibition at the Cinémathèque in Paris. I knew that he drew a lot, but not that he even painted. I discovered characters and monsters I could only dream of and, most of all, a quote of his that utterly changed my vision of (my own) art. Here it is : " Goddamit, I don't care if I can't draw, I'm just gonna draw how I feel about it. All of a sudden I had my own personal breakthrough, and then I could draw, and satisfied myself." Thank you, sir, for showing me the way !
